This mixed media collage is about communications in the 21st century. I incorporated white envelopes that arrive with bills and junk mail as a border to this portrait. Fewer people are reading physical newspapers and receiving snail mail. The lower portion of the portrait is a painting I photographed. incorporating it with cut paper to create his portrait. His teeth are from a magazine photo of a wooden railing, contrasting the updates in the 21st century. This portrait would look great in a modern home.

My work is influenced by mid-century design. It pays homage to Greenwich Village in the '60's. A time for great music and art. I love the mix of modern and historic buildings in New York city ( really most cities). Original architectural photographs are combined with textured and printed papers. This collage is mostly black and white with some taupe on warm-grey background. It includes typography and mid century modern forms. It can be displayed as a horizontal or vertical.

" Am I Good Enough? "25 x 19, Women are always questioning their worth, she's got her Feminine Credentials but she isn't sure of her worth no matter how many stairs she climbs. Spotlight on the glass ceiling everyone talks about. 19 years into the 21st century... it hasn't broken....
